Herne Bay is a popular Kent sea fishing venue with easy access to both the beach and pier with parking all along the sea front.  Good Bass and Flattie fishing can be had in the warmer months with whiting and codling showing in the winter.  Locally dug worm is a good bait to start with for most species.
