Dungeness beach going round to Denge Marsh is still a Mecca for Sea anglers from around the country. Each year some truly big Cod are caught with a fish over 20lbs still possible from the beach. Large Mackerel shoals come through in the summer almost jumping onto the beach some days. Big Bass also show at the right times of year. Get some local black Lugworm if you can, mixed with peeler Crab you won’t go far wrong.
