Dover
Dover is probably the most well known port in the country and offers good fishing all year round. The beach fishing is quite
limited and most anglers chose to fish off either the Prince of Wales Pier located inside the breakwater or the Admiralty Pier which
faces open water. Strong tides run along the Admiralty and heavy gear can be needed to get the most out of it. Good Cod
can be had in the winter on the right tide. The Mackerel hauls in the summer are famously large but fishing can be very cut
throat when its crowded!
