Your guide to fishing in Kent
Fish Kent -
The Moat Lake is tucked away in the middle of the Park Farm Housing estate in Southern Ashford. This small canal like lake can be fished on a Day Ticket. Containing small Carp, Bream, Tench, Rudd and Roach this is a surprisingly good little fishery. Pole or feeder work well against the far bank. Popular with kids during the weekend and holidays mid week can make for a more peaceful visit. All baits work well, but meat, corn and worm, with small pellets or maggot as feed will keep the fish coming. Try not to fish too heavy as you don’t need to cast a great distance.
