The Pike Fishing website

Pike Fishing:  Its that time of year again when many of us turn to Pike fishing for some good winter sport.  As the water temperature drops many anglers will be heading out to their local lake or river targeting this hard fighting predator.  Pike will be feeding now as they build up weight ready for spawning in early spring.

Its worth remembering that looking after this delicate fish needs to be top priority when fishing for them.  Make sure your line and rigs are strong and safe enough to do what is needed of them.  When you are lucky enough to land a pike, unhook it quickly and get it back in the water as quick as possible.  If you are not confident or equipped to fish for Pike, don’t!
